Love the Mordor comment. For some reason when scenic shots of our state are blasted out to the potential tourists of the world that drive heading west on I-80 never makes the cut. Can't imagine why? Do you think it is fear of attacking Hobbits?
Thanks for not putting in the part about how Dean and I were 45 MINUTES LATE! Seriously, how did you know the right time and I had the wrong time? Do you have a direct source in Tooele? Thanks for covering. The spotlight loves you.
Yeah, I was going to ask, did Shannon and Dean make it? I was entertaining my sister while she got her hair done, and Isa from the Purple Cow called me. Apparently, Shannon, I am your social secretary!
Shannon, because driving to Tooele was such a major undertaking (just under four hours round-trip) I went online to get a map, directions, and weather conditions. While I was there I went to the Purple Cow website to double check the time--I figured you and Dean had the right time, because you called just as I was leaving.
Then I didn't know the bookstore didn't have your number (1-800-GOOSEGIRL, by the way.) So I just kept blabbing to the crowd while the bookstore called everyone who might have your number. It was fine, I did a tap dance routine, pantomimed zoo animals, lots of fun stuff.
Jessica, you are my social secretary too. So far you are doing a lousy job--I haven't been invited to a single red-carpet event. Get ON IT!
1-800-GOOSEGIRL. I should have known. *shakes head* And now I'm really sad I missed it! Goodness, too bad I was too many hours away. And yes, the spotlight does love you.
My girls and I really enjoyed the book signing on Saturday. You did a great job entertaining us with your monster drawings while we waited for Shannon and Dean! Your art work on "Rapunzels Revenge" and "Calamity Jack" is fantastic! Thanks for taking the time to come out to Tooele:-)
