It appears that eight comments (when two of them were yours) worked out, even if you do have 17 whole subscribers on Google Reader. I don't know about Following, though.
I don't know about Google Reader or Following, I was hoping to see a bunch of comments, just to get an estimate of how many people followed the advent. Probably unwise to throw out on Christmas Eve Eve. Not a time when people have a lot of internet time to waste.
