And now for something completely different, some straight up fiction--science fiction. This is my concept for a saturday morning cartoon, in weekday blog comic form.
Urg, does it have to be Missouri? Bad enough that the allergens are already horrid here, now we get alien/space plants? I still can't figure out why people settled here in the first place. (Achoo!) Unless the original settlers were also aliens? Hmm....
Way to go on the marathon--as if you weren't totally awesome already. Hey is your mom still teaching at sundance and how do I reach her? I'm thinking about working there this season. Here's me email: jessicaridd@yahoo.com. I know I should probably just stick to illustration, but it's a such an outlet...
I'm so excited. Do I need to alert Orson Welles? Do we need to inform your blog viewers that this is indeed a dramatization, and assure them there is no need to run panicking into the streets?

I just realized this is really the first story, story I've done here. Not about science or history or interviews or whatnot. Should be fun!
Why Missouri? Why not Missouri--I lived in southern MO for half of this decade, so I'm allowed to rain space debris down on it all I want. :)
I love science fiction! I love Missouri! I love seeds! I love the word KAROOM!
What could be better than this?
