The Bird-Face Face-Off 4/8

This one's another one you have to see to believe. It's not a species, it's a super rare mutant strain of budgerigar (or parakeet--same thing.) Do a little search for real pics of this thing, it'll blow your mind.

That's half the face-off contestants, any front-runners? Favorites? Anybody have money riding on this? We'll do the official voting after all six birds have shown their faces. Should be exciting!

We've always had parakeets (NORMAL ones), and when obsessively looking at pictures of budgies online found lots of these weirdos. I always felt sorry for them somehow...

The first picture of a feather duster budgie I found was of a dead one. Cheers, Nate! I'm just glad my son wasn't looking over my shoulder! They are crazy cool, though, and now I want one. We always had parakeets growing up, the last one was an "ice blue", so pale it was nearly white all over. It rode around on my mom's shoulder all day.

I'm considering putting money on this baby, but I smell artificial evolutionary interference here. There is no way this bedecked creature could outwit natural selection.
