Animal House Guessing Game #3

This one's a mammal.

By the way, if you are worried that these images are spoiling the book, don't. The only thing I'm spoiling here is the book's endpaper, which features rows of these little portraits complete with each critter's name. To discover the true secrets of the ANIMAL HOUSE, you have to purchase your own copy of ANIMAL HOUSE.

Yesterday's creature was a Mi-CROW-wave.

Laundry Panther?

I don't know. It's definitely feline.

I'm going with a Laundry Hamster.

I'd amend Mandi's to laundry hampster, but I think she's got it.

I don't know what a laundry panther is, but I want one.

I agree with Mandi and Ben about the laundry hampster - though my first thought was hippolaundramus or laundrapotumus.

Laundry ch-agouti (even though it doesn't seem to be attached to the architecture).

Such imaginative responses...I love it!

I had a laundry panther once, but I had to get rid of him. He kept eating all my panth.

Candace, LAUNDRY PANTHER is a book that needs to be written.

Ron, I had to google "Agouti"--but I'll be darned, it IS a Laundry Ch-agouti--(well, not really, it's a "Laundry Hampster") but good call.

Never mind the book, I'm starting a band called LAUNDRY PANTHER.

Wow, I'm really struggling on this one. The only laundry-related ones I could think of were the clothes hangerbil and the coatimundi rack. I know, pretty terrible.
I keep trying to think of a way to do Maytag + meerkat, but it just won't go.

Nate, LAUNDRY PANTHER would be an amazing book! I'd buy it on the title alone.

Ron and Chris, Does Maytagouti work?

Chris, the only thing I could come up with for meerkat related to clothing/laundry (and it's not a very elegant solution) would be chiffonierkat. I much prefer a meerkat as a mirrorkat.

Dryermine could also maybe work for the illustration.
