NaNoWriMo

Hey, is anyone else out there participating in NaNoWriMo? National Novel Writing Month--it starts today and covers the month of November, the goal is to have a finished novel by the end of the month, 175 pages, 50,000 words.

If you've never heard of it, check their website here. It's a very well run program, the site is loaded with info, and you can update your daily word count to your profile. I'm going for it! I've never written anything longer than a 32 page picture book, so I'm taking the plunge. Sign up! Do it! It'll be fun. I am, you should too!

NO WAY. Not doing NaNo. That's just too crazy.

More power to you.

I like to go on their site to read the long list of published authors that have participated. Very inspiring. Can't wait to read yours!

I have trouble writing a comment on a blog or facebook, not going to try that. Are you going to publish your "novel" on your blog?

I thought about posting it here...but I think I'll stick to the comics. I might be horrible at novels, I don't want to find that out publicly.

Plus, you don't want to wait for an extra month to get to the SPACE WEED story Part 2, do you?

Also, I'm using the NaNoWriMo program as an excuse to help me with a big graphic novel project. My "novel" will be more of a graphic novel script (in novel form!) and I don't want to spoil the whole story here.

Phew. I better quit writing comments, and get busy writing writing.
