The Real Yellowbelly?

So what is Yellowbelly? The best answer I've heard was from a teacher who described him as a "Cheetah-beaver." I've always thought he had a little Totoro in him.

But get a load of this photo! Isn't he great? If we could just fatten him up and give him a teddy bear, I think we'd have our Yellowbelly.

Stuart wanted to know if Yellowbelly was real about 3 minutes ago. I guess that's my answer. The book came in the mail today, and the kids love it. Stuart was laughing his head off. Next time we're in Provo, I'll have to track you down so you can sign it!

Haha, you can get your Rapunzel signed too. Since I was nice enough to send you an UNSIGNED copy.

There was a little boy at the Rapunzel launch who was really upset. He had misconstrued "The author of Yellowbelly will be there," into "Yellowbelly will be there." Total heartbreak.

Cute! I'm glad Yellowbelly has a little Totoro in him. I'm pretty sure every cute, cuddly creature needs a little of that.
