Format Week Day 3

Thanks for the input so far, gang. As of today we're going for 6x6 with NO CLICK. I like the purity of NO CLICK myself. How about these font sizes? I like the 5, the 7 looks a little muddy. Actual digital fonts are out--too much work, so I hope you like my handwriting.

I know, Format Week is pretty boring, but this is all helping me build the best, most readable blog comic evar.

Format Week Day 2

Today's big format question is "Click? Or no click?" Do you click on the comic to see it bigger? Or do you prefer to just read it as it appears in the blog window? 

Today is in 6x6 size, but with a slightly smaller brush size. The "CLICK OR NO CLICK?" is in the old brush size, do you prefer the smaller?

Looks like my paint is still wet--back to work.

(TWO new Mario titles (Super Mario Galaxy 2!) and a full Metroid reboot from a new developer. Go Nintendo! Not as flashy as the Microsoft presser yesterday, but not too shabby either! I love E3 Week!)

Really, back to work.

Hmm, from the look of things, the TALL panel is out. 6x6 is nice. Of course, none of these are as action-packed as Chuck...

Isopod Friday, "Free CHUCK Toy!"

Isopod Thursday, "Chuck, Part 3--the Finale"

Hold onto your hats gang, here is the gripping conclusion to the story of Chuck the Lazy Isopod. You're gonna have to click this one to read it. The bigger the comic, the smaller it appears in the blog window...



This little story is true. This particular isopod, Cymothoa exigua, or "Tongue Louse" eats away a fish's tongue and then becomes the tongue. Pretty gross, eh? It's the only case of a parasite that becomes a working part of the host's functioning anatomy.

I've dropped the line-width to make for easier reading, the earlier ones have been a little hard to read. You can click on the comic to enlarge, but then it's too big. Hmm, still trying to find the right size for this kind of thing. Any pointers?
