Tomorrow's the Last Day for Custom Avatar/Book Pics!

I just got a CALAMITY JACK book photo from Qatar! WOW! They have it in Qatar, but they don't have it at my hometown Barnes and Noble? Anyway, keep them coming!

To everyone who's sent me a pic already, I'll be sending out an email response on Wednesday. Thanks again!

  1. Congratulations! Qatar is cool. Now you really are world famous.
(You should ask them to start a local chapter of the Plum Fan Club)

  2. That's my daddy! I sent him the book for a late Christmas present since he didn't really appreciate the aluminum cups he got. (Too cold, says he.)

And this is my first comment, after stalking your blog since Rapunzel. I guess it's time.

  3. Thanks for the head's up. I don't think my Amazon order will make it but I will go out in the wild and see what I can find. Although I really wanted the Blog heading. That is such a good idea for a prize.

  4. DaNae was the one who gave me the idea of a blog heading as a contest award. What do you think everyone? Should I give DaNae a blog heading for giving me the idea of a blog heading award? Sounds fair.

  7. Hey! How did you get a cartoon avatar already? Oh, wait--I see what you did there. Clever.

  8. Since no one else is speaking up for me, yes DaNae should get a reprieve and be awarded with a blog heading. The definitive proof should be a look at how lame her current heading, made with Microsoft publisher, is. She possibly deserves a new avatar as well, before Wiley Miller sues for copyright infringement. (But then he stole my name so I figured all was fair.)

I have to say a Nathan Hale blog heading is right up there with Carl Cassel's voice on your home answering machine as a prize.
