I may be using too complex of words, to be fair. I think this might be more like an easy reader level 2.
It's an interesting little niche. I don't imagine easy readers are big sellers. I'm sure libraries buy them in bulk. But I don't think they land on many bestseller lists.
Well, I like it so far! I've always thought that writing an easy reader would probably be the hardest kind of kid's book to write.
