Dragon #14 is not something you'd like to meet in a dark alley. Name That Dragon!
Our guest celebrity judge, Jessica Day George, is scrupulously examining the entries, collating data, and thinking deeply about each of yesterday's names. We'll have the results out later today. Cross those fingers!
This just in from Judge Jessica:
And the name of this dragon is: Treeaxis, Keeper of the Wood. This magnificent creature can sleep for long centuries beneath a blanket of moss and trees, waking in a terrible fury when his forest is threatened.
Congratulations Jason!

ReplyDeleteThe Fuliginous Cavern Eel, Fully for short.
ReplyDeletehe lives in the mirey sewers, his eyes barely stong enough to sustain the weak purpurescent light. for food he seeks out the water rats who splash across the mucky river that trails through his pipes. those who have survived encounters with Fully have reported that he makes an almost peaceful noise, sounding like a raspy lullaby. that is, until he feels threatened. then he screams a awful wa-a-a-a-a-cklash! and trying to hobble through the air with his bat like wings. Fully will not eat humans, but will kill them if he feels nervous, leaving the corpse to rot.
yup. avoid the sewers.
